Presented by The Bitter Jester Foundation for the Arts Come out and enjoy some of the best new bands and solo acts from across the Midwest! Musicians compete in the kickoff night of four preliminary rounds of the Bitter Jester Music Fest. Winners from each Preliminary Friday then compete against each other for the title of "Grand Champion" at a big concert leading up to the City of Highland Park's Independence Day Fireworks Display (July 4 at Wolters Field)! July 4 Judges then select two Finalists to compete in a single-song playoff for the title, a cash prize, gear, and additional performance opportunities at Ravinia Festival and Navy Pier. Produced by the Bitter Jester Foundation for the Arts. Madame Zuzu’s, a local plant-based teashop in highland park, Illinois. Owned and operated by musician Billy Corgan, founder of the grammy winning band the smashing pumpkins and fashion designer Chloe Mendel combining insanely delicious plant-based foods , rare teas of the world and an open source venue for the arts.
