Learn to make a Strawberry Shortcake for the whole family with Julie of Zaza's Pastas! Kids ages 6-11 are welcome to this hands-on class led by Julie Parisi, home "chef" and mother of 2! Kids will slice and macerate strawberries with child-safe knives. Their little fingers will also learn how to make a flaky shortcake dough and form it into a round disk to prepare slices for baking. Lastly, we'll assemble our shortcakes and everyone will get to taste our creations. Parents are welcome to enjoy the shops at the NewBo City Market, or drop kids off to attend the class. If a parent would like to attend, they'll need to purchase an additional ticket. This will be held in the Culinary Kitchen, within the NewBo City Market. Visit the Shops in the Market before your class for your dinner needs! No outside food or drinks allowed. No refunds or exchanges.
