ChessPalace is hosting a round-robin style chess tournament (Game 30 min/no delay) at SteelCraft Garden Grove. Our chess club, ChessPalace, is hosting a monthly Amateur chess tournament at SteelCraft Garden Grove. This month, in honor of Father's day, interested fathers or grandfathers of registered chess players can join in on the fun for free! (One paternal guardian per registered player.) Open to beginner players of all ages, this event is a great way to start playing chess with others over the board or to get more games in over a more casual atmosphere. Players will be allocated to a group of 6-8 players (depending on the total registrants) and they will play each opponent in their group. Sign in between 11:45 - 11:55 am and games starts 12:00 pm. Chess boards and pieces will be available to borrow. If you would like to bring your own, you’re welcome to as well. Entry Fee: $30 ($40 onsite)
