Description

Learn how to make felt flowers that will never die! In this class, taught by Annica Anderson of Thistlewhite Designs, you'll learn how to make a bright and cheery bouquet out of felt. I'll teach you basic techniques of working with felt and hot glue, simple ways to customize each basic technique, and some of my tips and tricks to make your forever flowers look more lifelike. You'll come away with a beautiful bouquet of daisies, lavender, billy balls, berries, and ruscus that you made yourself from beginning to end, as well as a foundational understanding of working with felt and hot glue to create even more floral designs. Attendees will be able to purchase snacks and drinks at half price from the Made in KC cafe during their Happy Hour from 5-7pm. All supplies will be provided, including high quality wool blend felt, wool felt balls, floral wire, scissors, and a hot glue gun. Minimum age is 16 years old, and participants must be able to use a hot glue gun and scissors safely. Class size is limited to 20 attendees. Instructor is fully vaccinated. Please register by Wednesday, June 8. You must be registered to attend. Feel free to email me (Annica) at [email protected] if you have any questions about this event!
