Learn how to create a soft, mottled background on the unusual substrate of rusty metal. After you learn to paint the background, you'll paint a picture or design on top of it in your own style. All supplies are included including one rusty metal flat panel, basic paint brushes and 2oz bottles of acrylic paints. Optional: If you prefer to paint with acrylic tube paints and/or using your own brushes, feel free to bring what you are most comfortable with. I haven't cut the metal to size yet but you will be given a piece approximately 6"x 8." Your finished rusty metal painting can be displayed on an easel or hung on the wall using a plate hanger.
