In this fused glass class, Erin, will show you different techniques for making your own jewelry, either earrings or necklaces. Fused Glass: Jewelry WHEN: Saturday, June 11, 9:30am-noon SKILL LEVEL: Beginner, no experience AGE: Adults 14+ TYPE OF EVENT: 1 day workshop plus pick up SUPPLIES: All supplies included PRICE: $50 INSTRUCTOR: Erin Warner, glassmaniastudios.etsy.com In this fused glass class, Erin, will show you different techniques for making your own jewelry, either earrings or necklaces. You may make other types of jewelry, but you will be responsible for supplying your own findings. We will discuss construction of jewelry using dichroic glass, stringers, dots and other embellishments. Each participant will make several completed jewelry pieces for either themselves or for that certain someone. The jewelry will include all findings unless otherwise noted and will come with a necklace (choice of silver-plated snake chain or black cords for pendants). Earrings will be silver plated nickel-free findings. You may choose sterling silver at $2.50 extra per pair. This class will require participants to wear safety glasses to protect the eyes from flying glass shards when cutting pieces. This will be strictly enforced. During class we will discuss a pick-up time 7-10 days after the class.
