Snap your caps and roll up your flaps AGAIN as we take wedding pros BACK to the USO! We'll be saluting our fellow industry buddies for a night at the Hollywood Canteen, a sequel event to our 2019 "Event Pro USO: A SWEL Night in the Hangar". This time, we are out of the hangar and into the dance hall! Built during World War 2, Sarasota Municipal Auditorium is the perfect host for this USO Style Event. The event will feature food and a cash bar from Pier 22 Special Events & Catering and amazing entertainment from The Vocalitas. Put on some dapper duds to network and nibble on Tuesday, June 14th. The fun goes from 5:30pm to 8:30pm! The Hollywood Canteen was founded by stars like Bette Davis and operated in Los Angeles from1942 to 1945 as a club offering food, dancing and entertainment for servicemen, usually on their way overseas. It was heavily staffed by Hollywood's biggest actors who volunteered their time. Additional showcasing vendors include Plithos Rentals, Xpress Urself Media, WeberSCENIC Productions, Enlightened Monkey Arts, US Tent Rental, Linens by the Sea, and Cat Pennenga Photography. The Bahi Hut is connected to the equally historic Golden Host Resort, who is graciously hosting The Vocalitas for the evening.
