Press release from the County of Dane: May 10, 2022 The Dane County Sheriff's Office is investigating a commercial burglary at a BP Gas Station, located at 109 N. Main Street in the Village of Deerfield. Deputies responded to an alarm at the business at about 4:20 am. An employee had just arrived for work and found the front door shattered. The thieves took cartons of cigarettes valued at about $2500. The suspects were in a white SUV, possibly stolen. Sheriff's Detectives are working with other municipal agencies to determine if this burglary is connected to additional gas station burglaries that occurred overnight.
