Animation focused program brought by the 2021 London International Animation Festival. Save the dates! It's official — we are having our third film festival! June 2- 4, 2022! IFFY—independent Film Festival Ypsilanti—is back for its third season June 2nd through June 4th in downtown Ypsilanti at the Riverside Arts Center. Season 3 of iFFY will bring an awesome, eclectic set of programs, including shorts programs: MI-Made, Acoustic Convergence, the London International Animation Festival’s traveling tour, Underground Picnic, Stars in Our Eyes, and a feature-film screening of Hamtramck, USA. In a special US screening, the LIAF brings their " Best Of" animations to IFFY. Founded in 2003, LIAF aims to dispel the popular misconception that animation is just cartoons for kids by screening the broadest possible range of intelligent, entertaining and provocative current films on offer from all around the world as well as retrospectives and specialised sessions from countries and animators who don't normally elicit such attention. Independent Film Festival Ypsilanti (iFFY) is an annual event that draws diverse audiences and filmmakers for mind-expanding, independently-made movies in downtown Ypsilanti, MI.
