Summer Enrollment Now Open at NVCC

Waterbury- Naugatuck Valley Community College is now enrolling students in credit and non-credit courses for the summer! Summer classes are a great way to learn something new, finish up some course credits, or prepare for a new career to advance in the workforce. A wide variety of credit courses are available during the two summer sessions. The first session begins on June 6 and the second session starts on July 11. Course offerings include business, communication, digital arts, English, manufacturing, mathematics, Spanish, sociology, and more! The college is also offering a summer Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course, with classes conducted by Connecticut State certified EMS instructors. The class runs June 6 through July 29, meeting online on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am- 4:30 pm and in person on Fridays from 9 am- 4:30 pm. NVCC is also offering a wide variety of non-credit courses this summer, including courses in business, certified nursing assistant, computer science, real estate, and more. A one-day Certified Security Officer course is also being offered on Saturday, July 9 at the Waterbury Campus.
