Join fellow Net Impact members to support Love Your Park in beautifying the Schuylkill River Park! **NOTE: This has been rescheduled to Saturday, May 14 (from original date of May 7 )due to rain. Same time, same place--just one week later now** Join Net Impact Philly to volunteer for a few hours to help beautify the Schuylkill River Park on May 14 between 9am - noon. We will refresh the park, clean up debris accumulated over the winter, and generally make the park sparkle by mulching around trees and plants, planting flowers and small bushes, and clearing weeds. Tools and gloves will be provided. *Meet at Markward Center: 400 S. Taney St. in the Park* Please RSVP via eventbrite so we can get an accurate headcount of volunteers. By RSVPing on our page, you are also agreeing that we can sign you up on the Love Your Park website. Love Your Park is a partnership between Fairmount Park Conservancy and Philadelphia Parks & Recreation that invites Philadelphians to volunteer and get involved in our public green spaces! They work with the Park Friends Network to host volunteer events all year long, with special citywide celebrations in spring and fall.
