The University of Southern Indiana will host health professionals starting May 18th to present study findings and encourage dialogue surrounding alcohol and drug abuse disorders.
According to a release, there is a lot to cover. Topics include cannabis usage, prison programs, recreational therapy, tele-behavioral health, and trends in the use and distributions of illegal narcotics.
Keynote speakers include state and national leaders in mental health and cognitive behavioral therapy.
The Institute for Alcohol and Drug Studies is open to social workers, therapists, doctors, addiction specialists and anyone else interested.
