BROOKLYN PARK, MN — Park Brook Elementary in Brooklyn Park was placed on lockdown Wednesday afternoon while police and a SWAT team searched for a man they said was armed with a gun. Police also told residents in that area to lock "all doors to your home and shelter in place." The man was described as an older white person wearing a camouflaged jacket. Police later said they found the man barricaded inside a residential home in the area. "There is no longer a need to shelter in place if you live in this neighborhood," authorities said.
