From City of West Palm Beach:
November 5, 2020
The City of West Palm Beach Department of Parks and Recreation has opened a new disc golf course on the north side of Dreher Park, 1150 Southern Boulevard. This 18-hole course is open for players of all ages and skill levels. Disc golf is much like the sport of golf, but instead of golf clubs, players use a disc or Frisbee.
To make your visit to the new disc golf course an enjoyable one, please know about these fun facts and usage guidelines:
Open hours: sunrise to sunset. Cost: FREE, however players must bring your own discs. Tees: There are two sets of tees for different skill levels: green tees for novice players and white tees for advanced players. Par: Overall par is 55. However, there is one par 4 and many short, fun par 3s. Restroom: The restroom nearest to the course is located between hole #1 and hole #16. And: Please remember that Dreher Park is home to many other outdoor activities, meaning you are likely to encounter park goers while playing. If you are new to the game, please check out the rules at www.pdga.com. This press release was produced by the City of West Palm Beach. The views expressed are the author's own.
