Delzer Diversified, Dirtbiz is a local family owned excavation company that is looking to fill a laborer position as soon as possible. Laborer will be expected to provide own transportation to shop located in Big Sky on a full time basis. Typical work week is Monday to Friday from 7:00 am-5:30 with occasional longer days and weekends depending upon work load. Laborer will assist equipment operators and site supervisor with excavation tasks such as excavating new foundations, utility installs, backfill and some retaining walls. The right candidate will have the opportunity to learn about the excavation trade and have training on how to safely work around and potentially operate heavy equipment. This position is a full time year round work. Candidate Requirements: High school Diploma or GED Valid Drivers license Reliable transportation to get to work on time 5 days a week Available to work 40hrs per week or more Ability to lift 50lbs Work outside in all types of weather conditions Want to learn a new trade This job requires no prior experience in excavation or landscaping but any experience around construction or equipment is very helpful. We are willing to train the right candidate. Again this is a full time position with the ability to be hired full time year round. Our company has many opportunities for year round work as we also do Snow removal, Excavation, Equipment rental, shop mechanic, and trucking/hauling.
