Smithtown HS East Seniors Finalists In Prestigious Science Competition

SMITHTOWN, NY — Sarah Schubel, Aman Mistry and Leigh Baratta, who are science research seniors at Smithtown High School East, were named finalists in the NSPC Health Science Competition, the Smithtown Central School District announced. The three students spent this summer working on their individual projects, two at Stony Brook University and one at Smithtown High School East, with Science Research Coordinator Maria Zeitlin. The finals are scheduled for May 18 in Rockville Centre.
