Job Description We are looking for permanent employee with counter sales and customer service knowledge as a thorough construction estimator to calculate possible costs and gains of construction projects. You will collect and analyze data according to a series of useful variables. You must have great attention to detail and excellent communication skills. The goal is to provide the company with accurate information that will help in operations and strategic planning. Qualifications/Experience • Construction estimating: 2 yrs. (required) • US work authorization (Preferred) • Costumer Service: 2 yrs. (required) Responsibilities • Visit sites, warehouses, and other venues to gather essential information, per mgt. • Acquire understanding of the requirements of the project/program at hand • Select metrics to produce valid estimates • Excellent front counter, customer service salesmanship is a must! • Perform accurate fabrication quotes • Must have 2-year minimum construction field background • Must have light building math knowledge • Must be able to work in a fast paced and demanding working environment, have time management and organizational skills. Skills • Proven experience as construction estimator • Basic understanding of accounting and project management concepts • Comfortable with numbers and technology • Great attention to detail • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities • Well-organized and reliable • 2-year minimum working in engineering, construction science or relevant field • Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or other qualification will be a plus Benefits • Dental Insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Retirement plan • Vision insurance Schedule • 8-hour shift • Monday – Friday • Weekend availability Work Location • one location Job Type: • Full-time Pay: $26 - $36/hr.
