Bakery and Restaurant Foods Inc. Is looking for an organized, honest, reliable, positive, and responsible team member to help pull orders together and deliver fresh goods to our customers in a timely fashion. The delivery driver will pick orders from the warehouse to load on their truck, then proceed to deliver orders to each customer while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. The driver is responsible for accurate accountability of order fulfillment to each customer and delivering exceptional customer service. This position is a direct representation of B&R Foods and will be required to be presentable, kind, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. Tasks must be done in a safe timely manner with accuracy and attention to detail to ensure complete orders, packaged correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer. Candidate must have a clean driving record and a background check to be admitted upon hiring. CDL is not required. Responsibilities: Picking orders from the warehouse, loading the trucks, transporting, delivering items to customers in a safe and timely manner with an exceptional customer service focus. • Perform Vehicle inspections daily • Reviewing orders before and during delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the changes are correct, and the customer is satisfied. • Loading and unloading items from vehicles efficiently. • Transport, unload and deliver products in a safe manner to prevent damage, spoilage, or loss • Delivering according to the customers specifications and expectations. • Accepting payments for delivered items. • Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints professionally. • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules. • Navigate routes using relevant map programs and apps. • Communicate traffic delays and other concerns to dispatch promptly • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record. • Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries. • Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, large trucks, forklifts, etc. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Valid driver's license issued by the state where you intend to work. • Background check • Driving record check, must have a clean driving record. • Able to safely operate and navigate a delivery truck. • Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws. • Strong time management and customer service skills. • Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items for extended periods of time. • Using navigation tools i.e., Google Maps. • Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck • Experience in food service is preferred. • Special licenses for equipment or vehicles i.e. (Forklift Operator) are encouraged but not required.
