I am a 21 year old guitarist looking to join or form a band. I'm a jam band lovin man. The dead, Allman Bros, Jerry Garcia band, Tedeschi Trucks, Billy Strings are among my favorites. Other influences include stones, Dylan, the Band, SRV, Freddie King, Bobby Blue, Ray Charles, Pink Floyd, the Who, Santana, Clapton, Steely Dan, Doobie Brothers, Joe Walsh, Journey, Van Halen, Zeppelin, Skynyrd, ZZtop. I can play rhythm and lead to all of above. My playing style is best described as 80% jerry, and 20% duane, derek, and santana. I do the Duane and Derek blues-oriented stuff, and also can mimic a decent pedal steel tone for country stuff. Speaking of country love Townes Van Zant, Merl Haggard, Hank Jr., Waylon, George, and more currently Tyler Childers and Colter Wall. As far as gear I have an epiphone SG, a Laney Cub 212r amp, and a couple effect pedals. Not a good singer, can manage singing backup if I need to. I have my own ride, do not have rehearsal space. I have experience playing live in a cover band at school. I am available for the summer. Interested in joining any band having to do with 60s, 70s, 80's rock, or blues, funk, soul, or country, bluegrass stuff. Pretty much anything except metal, rap, and current pop.
