Hybrid Alligator Snapping Turtle

Description

This is Koopa. She is a hybrid alligator snapping turtle. You get all the features of the alligator snapper, without the bad disposition. She's a very voracious eater. Whether its large comets, mealworms, crickets, shrimp, minnows, crawfish, etc....she eats them all. Unlike the traditional alligator snapper which lies in wait with its mouth open and hopes a fish comes close enough to be eaten, she actually likes to stalk her prey down. Crawfish stand no chance with her. I've had her since she was about the size of a half dollar coin. In July she will be 2 years old. I currently have her in a 55 gallon tank and she is getting too big too fast. I just dont have time to build a bigger enclosure for her. Whoever gets her, will have to have at least a 100 - 150 gallon tank because she will continue to get a lot bigger. With her neck outstretched to the tip of her tail, she is over a foot long. She's very docile and has never snapped at me, not once. I can pick her up and rub her head and she shows no aggression at all. I expect her to get well over 100 pounds, so in the future an enclosure will be needed to accommodate the size that she will eventually grow to. I'm asking a rehoming fee of $100. Its just for the turtle only. I still have a painted slider that shares the tank with her and they get along great. I'm sure she'll probably be gone before the weekend. So the first one here gets here. Not holding her for potential suitors with broken promises.
