Miss Augusta, Missouri’s premier yacht, is now hiring First Mates. Miss Augusta offers daily public cruises as well as private events and weddings. We are seeking highly energetic professional staff with a positive attitude and a passion for the outdoors and the water! The cruises will feature sightseeing excursions, daytime, and sunset cruises. Potential staff must be enthusiastic about the wildlife, while excelling in customer service and hospitality. Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and some holidays. The First Mate position requires tying/untying the boat, assisting the captain, helping with overall safety and maintenance of the boat, responsible for keeping the boat clean and always in presentable condition. Must be situationally aware concerning passenger safety. Some heavy lifting occurs, and mechanical experience is a plus. Bartending duties and customer service are also required. Must have a basic understanding of drinks and recipes. Ideal candidates must possess the ability to maintain a positive working relationship with others and be reliable with a positive attitude. Leadership skills a must. Must be available days, nights, weekends and select holidays.
