$50,000+ Scholarship will be awarded to 1 person to learn dog grooming from a Nationally Certified Master Groomer. This hands on training is not available anywhere in NJ. This hands on Not a on last be course!! TuesThursday Saturday start 5/6pm to 10/11pm. (3to 4 hrs 3 days per week). I am a disabled senior and 1 of only 9 Certified Master Groomers in NJ and I would like to teach someone to groom like I groom so they can Take over my Salon/Shop. I have no children and want to teach 1 person how to groom the correct way. You must be available on those 3 nights a week and MUST be reliable!!! Driving is a plus so I know you can get to and from the salon/shop. You must love animals and not be afraid of dogs or cats. You must be firm and fair and understanding how to give verbal commands, once you are taught how to do so. This is not a easy course and will take 1 to 2 years to a dedicated person depending on how fast you can learn. You will need to purchase books with in the 1st month of training and start buying equipment after 6 months. They are usually available on line used from ppl who thought learning how to groom was easy bought everything then found out it was not as easy as they thought. We will be attending trade shows and dog show and other events to enhance your knowledge. * some trade shows charge a fee for classes this is out of my control and should be attended at your cost, again to further your knowledge. There is a very good chance if you are the right person who is serious about learning to groom the correct way, to take over my salon and client list. I need someone who is ambitious and motavated.
