Young lab/hound mix named Peach

We recently found a lab/hound mix running in traffic on a visit to family in Louisiana. She had a ligature mark on her leg from previously being tied up that demonstrated she had not had an easy life prior to ending up with us. Peach is a happy go lucky puppy with lots of energy and a will power to please her owner. She is especially fond of male attention, and craves being owned by a man that has several big dogs to run around with. Unfortunately my husband works during the week and she misses him all day. She just doesn’t have the same urge to please/ability to listen to a female voice and I am the one home with her during the week. She is a smart dog with a drive to hunt and catch prey, and would make a fantastic raccoon or bird hunting dog with proper training. She has already caught 2 birds in our backyard by herself and trees a raccoon. However, when inside she knows not to chase our cat, & is gentle and sweet with our 6 year old daughter. If you are looking for your next best friend, Peach may be your gal. Unfortunately, my little dog isn’t fond of her and stresses her out by barking and nipping at her constantly. I was hoping she would grow to love our new puppy, but unfortunately she just isn’t a fan of the high energy and playfulness of Peach. Peach is 10 months old, knows her name, knows sit, stay, lay, and roll over. She is very treat/food motivated and easy to train. Asking a rehoming fee of $20. She comes with 2 crates, her bed, a bag of Evolve dog food, a harness, leash, and collar.
