If you are looking for a company with over 40 years of providing quality products and stable employment we invite you to apply to join our family-owned comp Job duties: -Responsible for the safe and efficient manual assembly of awning parts used in the production process - Makes pre-shift checks to assure readiness - Provides adjustments as necessary during production shifts for proper operation -Provides preventative and periodic maintenance checks and operations - Make recommendations to management for major adjustments and/or maintenance to the systems -QUALITY ASSURANCE: Assure that all finished products are complete, consistent with Production Orders, and of acceptable product quality -Check completeness of product as it is placed into finished goods storage -Check quality of product as it is placed into finished goods storage -Assure that all paperwork accompanying finished product is complete and in order -Assure that products are tagged properly and stored in the proper place -Assist Installers in locating and loading products going out for installation -Receive products returned for processing and assure that they are properly accounted for, tagged, and stored MINIMUM WORK SKILLS AND JOB KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: · Knowledge of the hazards of the occupation and safe working practices · Operating and safety knowledge of the equipment pertinent to the job · Sufficient reading ability for reading and understanding Production Tags, Production Orders, manufacturer’s maintenance and operating manuals · Knowledge and ability to perform daily and periodic preventative and general maintenance operations on the paint systems · Sufficient leadership ability to provide guidance in the systems’ operations and maintenance needs · Must have moderate degree of mechanical aptitude and previous assembly/production experience · Must be able to stand for several hours and bend over work table · Must be able to lift and move up to 100 pounds of material several times an hour · Must have dexterous use of both hands · Must have good corrected vision · Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure and perform the four functions with common and decimal fractions and using common measuring and hand tools sign-on bonus paid after being employed for 30 days.
