PLAINVIEW, NY — Firefighters are working a structure blaze at the Plainview Commons shopping center. The Plainview Volunteer Fire Department said it was working a structure fire around noon Tuesday. Firefighters asked residents to stay away from Old Country Road, near Cravings. There were no immedtiate injuries and the fire was placed under control, firefighters said.
