As Account Manager you will have success by creating long-term, trusting relationships with our clients. Your role is to oversee the quality of our work and the condition of the client’s home, and to communicate with our team and the client, for any actions needed, for a portfolio of assigned clients and their beautiful homes and grounds. During your property visits, you will apply treatments on client properties regarding lawn and shrub insect and fungus problems, as well as turf management. Account management responsibilities include field time checking our residential properties for quality and upselling opportunities, developing strong relationships with customers and our lawn service teams. You will answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Customer Service and Product Development departments) to improve the entire customer experience. Ultimately, a successful Account Manager should collaborate with our sales team and crews to reach goals and exceed client expectations, while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and keeping their grounds beautiful! Responsibilities Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships Regularly review all properties and provide feedback to crew to improve quality of work to exceed customer exceptions Maintain contractual obligations on client properties regarding lawn and shrub application treatments and turf management. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed Assist in managing the crews and schedule with the Operations Manager and his team Respond to customer calls / texts / emails quickly and efficiently Manage your time effectively - consider how best to approach your workload considering drive time, property time, office/ administrative time, and internal meeting time. Licensing and Knowledge of appropriate treatment for specific insect, weed, turf diseases and nutritional deficiencies by application of appropriate product. Maintenance of power spray equipment and the ability to maintain it while keeping it clean and in mechanically sound condition at all times Responsibility for chemical oversight and records compliance related treatments t Sound judgement related to the application of chemicals (exposure to the public, weather conditions and other environmental considerations) Skills/Requirements Proven work experience as an Account Manager, licensed applicator, and relevant role Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively · Knowledge of horticulture, and irrigation, and experience managing landscape services · Solid experience with CRM software/scheduling software · Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs · Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail · Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities · Strong verbal and written communication skills (bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus) · Attention to detail and dedication to ensuring high-quality standards are met · A valid Texas Driver's License with a record that is acceptable to the company’s insurance company. · TDA Commercial Applicator License (Preferred) · Horticulture or turf management degree preferred or 5 years’ experience doing similar work.
