PLAINVIEW, NY – A man who accidentally fired a shotgun into his neighbor's home faces multiple charges, Nassau Police said Friday.
Police responded to Orchard Street in Plainview early Thursday after a woman found two holes in the second-floor exterior wall of her home. The woman also found a pellet on the floor of her daughter's bedroom and a second pellet that pierced an interior wall, police said.
Officers noticed a neighbor's window had been shattered and boarded up and determined that 33-year-old Daniel Parisi was responsible for the damage, police said.
Detectives determined that Parisi had accidentally discharged a shotgun from within his home, police said.
Parisi was arrested and charged with first degree reckless endangerment, endangering the welfare of a child, prohibited use of a weapon and fourth degree criminal mischief.
