Black Rock Underground is an excavation contractor in the Portland Metro area that specializes in mainline pipe bursting. We are currently seeking a full-time Pipe Layer. **Experience highly preferred** Not an entry-level position. Ideal Qualifications: • Minimum 2 years mainline pipe laying experience • Reliable, responsible, and motivated self-starter • Ability to communicate and report effectively • Excellent problem-solving abilities • Good physical condition and stamina- ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in outside conditions, including inclement weather • Ability to maintain all safety and regulatory standards, as required • Valid ODL with clean driving record Basic Responsibilities: • Install sanitary and storm water sewer structures and pipe systems • Lay out pipe routes, following specifications or blueprints, and coordinating layouts with supervisor • Cut pipes to required lengths • Connect pipe pieces and seal joints • Grade and level trench bases • Other duties as required Benefits: • High Pay Rate • Health benefits available • 401k Match • Paid Time Off We are also hiring for CDL Truck Driver, Foreman, and Laborer.
