Production Labor Munhall, PA $18.07/hour to start United Steelworkers Union Variable 12 hour shifts Benefits upon entering union: Health – Dental – Vision – Life – Retirement Plan – 401K with match – Paid Time Off This role will perform a variety of tasks and operates various machines to prepare pipe and tubing for shipment. Duties of the job include inspection, annealing, cutting to length and other activities required to bring product into customer-ready condition. Duties: • Take measurements of product inside diameters, outside diameters, wall thicknesses and lengths using micrometers, plug and ring gauges, and measuring tapes. • Properly complete single and multi-batch confirmations in ERP System • Set up and operate Eddy Current testing stations if assigned to an Inspection Station. • Read and comprehend Production Orders. • Complete required documentation, specifically Finishing Production Report (FPR). • Operate any of the following machines/work stations as required: Cut-off Saws, Mair Saw, SALA Saw, Drever Furnace, Pickle Tank, Inspection Stations, Forklift, Overhead Crane, Type Tester, Stencil Printer, Air Under Water, Test Straighteners • Packaging for Shipment. Requirements • High school diploma or GED; or related experience and/or training • Knowledge and experience of welding procedures. • Ability to use tape measure accurately and effectively • Must be able to frequently lift, push, and/or carry up to 20 lbs. • Must be able to occasionally lift, push, and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
