Production Welder Munhall, PA $20.12/hour to start United Steelworkers Union Variable 12 hour shifts Benefits upon entering union: Health – Dental – Vision – Life – Retirement Plan – 401K with match – Paid Time Off We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our team. The primary duty of this job is operation of pipe/tube welding mill from loading a coil onto the mill to cutting welded material to length and bundling produced pipe. The job also includes completing required documentation and quality testing. Essential Duties • Read and comprehend production orders. • Operate pipe/tube mill from loading coil onto the mill to forming, welding, annealing, cut-off and bundling of produced pipe while maintaining quality standards. This includes operating TIG, Plasma, Laser and High Frequency weld mills as necessary. • Complete ERP confirmations for all produced pipe and tubing. • Complete required documentation and reporting. Skills • Proven experience as welder • Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures • Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.) • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings • Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.) • Deftness and attention to detail • Professional Certification is a plus Requirements • High school diploma or GED; or related experience and/or training • Knowledge and experience of welding procedures. • Ability to use tape measure accurately and effectively • Must be able to frequently lift, push, and/or carry up to 20 lbs. • Must be able to occasionally lift, push, and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
