Nature Sketchbook Walk: 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Sketching in nature is a great practice for building nature observation skills and can be a wonderful mindfulness practice. In this relaxed and guided program, we will capture a quick representation of natural objects, landscape features and more as we walk around the sanctuary. Bring a sketchbook and pencil, or borrow one of ours. No previous art training is necessary. Cranberry Lake Preserve, 1609 Old Orchard St., North White Plains: (914) 428-1005. Meet the Animals: 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. If you love animals you will want to come to this program! Meet our nature center animals and learn all about them. Project Feeder Watch: 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. ID and count birds at Nature Center feeders with volunteers from Saw Mill River Audubon. Great opportunity for photography, indoor activity, all ages, all skill levels. SUNDAY, NOV. 24 Muscoot Farm, Route 100, Somers: (914) 864-7282. Turkey Talk: 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Get up close and learn all about turkeys during this interactive program. Marshlands Conservancy, Route 1, Rye: (914) 835-4466. Dream Catcher Workshop: 2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Make a dream catcher to take home with you, using natural materials and beads. Fourth Monday Bird Walk: 8:30 a.m. – 10 a.m. Observe and learn about the amazing variety of bird life at Croton Point with experts from Saw Mill River Audubon.
