Drop-off food scraps for compost in Jamaica, Queens?

Hi everyone, my household is looking to bring our compost to a collection site. Since my schedule varies, I'm hoping to find a site where I can drop off a small amount of compost anytime, on roughly a weekly basis. I saw online that Rufus King Park accepts food scraps during limited hour windows on Fridays and Saturdays. The other sites I saw in the neighborhood are community gardens that are not active. Does anyone have, or know of, a garden where there is a compost pile and gardeners who would welcome additional food scraps? I'd also love to connect with other environmentally-minded neighbors in Jamaica, Queens. Many thanks.
