A+ Staffing is seeking experienced catering staff for weddings, graduations, corporate events, private parties and more! We need staff who can work Fridays and especially Saturdays! Duties may include unloading catering van, setting up catering kitchen/bars/food stations, assembling place settings, polishing silver, light food prep such as assembling or plating, passing appetizers/hors d'oeuvres, maintaining buffet area or food stations, refilling beverages, carrying trays of food, busing, cleaning up spills, breaking down work areas and other duties as assigned. ATTIRE: Black pants/slacks, black long-sleeved button-down dress shirt, black shoes (non-slip preferred). Some clients require a black tie. Some clients may request a white button down dress shirt. Staff must supply their own uniform. REQUIREMENTS: Previous restaurant or catering experience is preferred. Must be polished and professional in appearance and demeanor. Must be willing to participate in extensive set up and tear down at the start and end of each shift. Must have a positive attitude and work well with others/treat guests and fellow staff members with respect at all times. Must be flexible and adaptable to various service styles (buffet style, stations, plated meal service, family style service, indoor/outdoor, etc). Must have or be willing to obtain TABC and Food Handler certificates. Reliable transportation is necessary. Many jobs are not accessible via public transit. PAY: $20.00 per hour (many jobs pay gratuity) We pay weekly via direct deposit. This is a W-2 position. All staff must fulfil I-9 requirements. Paid drive time is available for some jobs.
