Progressive pop-tinged rock Guitarist wanted

San Diego guitar players, I have to believe there is one among you who has the skill and passion to be the right person for this project. Progressive pop-rock, so think of bands like Kansas/Syx/Rush/Journey/Yes/Genesis/Spock’s Beard/*frost/Ambrosia but mix in flavors from the Beatles and Beach Boys to Jellyfish and Zappa. So far, no 20 minute prog epics (not ruling them out...), this is intricate music in six minutes or less. Need someone with the speed and feel of Satriani but the melodic sensibilities of a Lukather or Jason Falkner. Vocal ability a definite plus. I am a full time musician, so this is not for money right out of the gate (obviously that’s everyone’s ultimate goal). Original music only. I play covers for a living, and have had my fill of that. Before I resort entirely to hiring session pros, I thought I would try one last time to find people who are highly proficient on their instrument, brimming with passion to create something new, and stable enough to see it through to the end. I have national credits and contacts, a locked out private rehearsal studio, enough gear for three bands, and enough songs to keep us busy. All that’s missing is you! This is music with a purpose...previous attempts have raised thousands for charities in two states. There is a way to have fun while making a difference. Thanks in advance.
