This is a new role as part of Lam’s expansion in Phoenix, AZ. The new facility will be located in North Phoenix off Hwy-17 and No. Norterra Parkway. This will be a remote position until approximately July 2022, then onsite. Lam’s Production Control Manager (Spares Operations function) manages a complex set of business processes that are designed to support the Customer Service Business Group (CSBG) commercial business objectives and support a global base of customers with speed and flexible solutions. Job Duties • Deliver inventory solutions to Lam's global manufacturing sites through the identification of supply solutions utilizing a worldwide inventory network and managing logistical teams to deliver to identified sites • Manage a team to support specific functional and organizational objectives as identified by the executive and senior management staff • Recruit and retain employees, developing to required proficiency to meet goals and support career growth; provide business process development and training as required • Identify and implement solutions in a complex matrix environment working with stakeholders across numerous global teams, utilizing the accepted Lam escalation process to align stakeholder functions where applicable • Collect, format, and report data to established set of Key Point Indicators (KPI's) and identify where corrections are required Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree or equivalent • Two+ years’ experience in manufacturing or Spares Operations • Three+ years’ Supervisory experience • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) • Demonstrated problem solving skills in a matrixed business structure • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Additional skills and abilities beneficial for this role include SAP operating experience and APICS certification.
