Position Title: General Labor Wage: $22.00 + per hour Shift: All This company offers careers across a wide variety of disciplines and skillsets. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Perform all duties listed on dryer operator, mix operator, packing operator and warehouse personnel job descriptions in accordance with Quality Management System procedures. - Mix and spray dry a variety of food ingredient products according to specific parameters set for each product. - Develop an understanding of spray dryer operation, characteristics, limitations, and hazards. - Clear communication with mix operators, packaging operators, and QA technicians to ensure product is received and delivered to and from the dryer in the proper manner to assure a quality product is produced. - Assist in mixing raw materials as required using formula provided for each product. - Manually loads or unloads materials on to or off pallets. - Operates forklift to load, unload, transport, and stack material. - Loads and unloads materials to and from designated storage areas such as racks, or vehicles such as trucks or ocean containers. - Perform general duties throughout the plant and grounds during periods when relief duties are not required. - Cleaning, sanitizing and obtaining environmental samples. - Perform light maintenance such as painting and minor repair work will be required. - Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues. - Dedicate effort to safety as we expect every employee to leave work in the same condition as they arrive. - Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements. - Adhere to all DFA Quality, Safety and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformity. - Attend required training, including but not limited to, Safety, GMP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF).
