Job description We are a fast-growing industrial supply house with multiple locations throughout Texas. We supply pipe, valves, and fittings to various industries including: oilfield, food & beverage, and industrial manufacturing. Currently we are looking for a full-time Warehouse Associate for our Fort Worth location. This position is full-time, Monday-Friday Job Summary: The Warehouse Associate will increase operational efficiency and company profitability by accurately and timely processing the incoming shipments. They will take on the responsibility to clearly identify and/or label all incoming products. Job Duties: Process incoming shipments in a timely and accurate manner Take on the responsibility so that all incoming products are clearly identified and/or labeled Check incoming freight for damage and process according to company’s policy Enter tag-and-hold locations on system in a timely manner Remove tag-and-hold products from incoming shipments Move incoming shipments to put-away zones in an efficient manner Schedule incoming shipments to ensure efficiency during the delivery process Notify Purchasing Department of all receiving discrepancies Keep tag and hold area clear and accessible Keep receiving area clean and neat Follow all safety procedures Follow company policies and procedures Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required Assist in the scheduled physical inventory counts Other duties as assigned Job Requirements: Delivers superior customer service Accuracy and attention to detail Effective listening and good phone skills Able to perform business math (basic algebra, compute rate, ratio, etc.) Able to work independently with some direction Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures Technical expertise and knowledge of company products Superior organizational skills Able to multi-task Able to handle difficult customers with diplomacy and tact Problem-solving and analytical ability Team player who works productively with wide range of people Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Education: High school diploma/GED required (Associate degree preferred) Experience: Minimum 2 years in similar position preferred Minimum 1 year in progressive position (2 years preferred) Product/applications experience preferred Wholesale distribution experience preferred Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check Salary: ($14-$18/hr Compensation based on Experience) We are a well-established company serving Texas for over 40 years.
