POSITION OVERVIEW: Carpenter will work under the direction of the Lead Carpenter performing demolition work, frame and trim carpentry work, touch ups, and general handyman work. Responsibilities: • Perform carpentry at the highest level as required • Expedite timely completion of the work to maintain schedule and budget goals • Ensure jobsite safety and protection, maintenance of company tools, and enforce all job site protocols • Carpenter will produce work and expect others’ work to meet the highest standards • Read and interpret paperwork, including all plans and specifications, purchase orders, trade partners work orders, and cost updates • Bring questions, discrepancies, and unusual conditions to the attention of the Lead Carpenter • Offer suggestions for better production performance • Responsible for end-of-day procedures, such as clean-up, weather protection and security • Responsible to keep jobsite safety for homeowners and trade partners • Communicate with clients and trade partners in a professional manner Job Type: • Full-time Wage and Benefits: • $22.00/hour plus quarterly bonuses at management discretion. Raises given to high performers • Simple IRA with 3% match after 90 days • Paid time off after 1 year • Cell phone allowance Transportation and Tools: • Must have reliable transportation and necessary small tools for small remodel projects • Must have smart phone Experience: • Demo, framing, finish carpentry, touch-ups, etc.: 3 years (Required) • Home remodeling: kitchens, baths, additions, etc.: 3 years (Preferred) • Basic Computer Skills: 3 years (Preferred) License: • Driver's License (Required) Work Authorization: • United States (Required) • Background check (Required) Job Distance: • Arlington, TX: Within 20 miles (Preferred)
