The Fleet Maintenance Manager will monitor and conduct the daily and ongoing maintenance associated with The Total Package Logistics delivery van fleet. The Fleet Maintenance Manager will ensure the safety and reliability of all vehicles in the fleet in order to meet business demands and internal customer satisfaction. The Fleet Maintenance Manager may also provide supplementary delivery support based on need. Business operations are from M-Sun 8 a.m. to 9 pm., however work days/time are variable based on and as business needs change. This is a full-time hourly position based on a 40 hour work week, with the potential for periodic overtime. We are looking for someone that is passionate about vehicle maintenance, cleanliness and safety. The ideal candidate is able to coordinate work efforts and time on jobs to ensure business continuity on a daily and ongoing basis. This individual is a self-directed person that is able to work independently but can also work a part of a team. Duties and Responsibilities: Drive any TTPL delivery routes as needed based on gaps in daily route assignments and staffing, and/or direction from the Assistant General Manager or General Manager. Perform ALL van PMs (including oil changes, air filters, spark plugs, etc) on time according to the schedule provided. Perform non-PMs on a scheduled basis (including brakes and tire changes) Perform vehicle repairs required by Amazon to meet and exceed roadworthy guidelines (including sidestep replacement, bulb replacement, mirror replacement, camera/camera housing replacement, windshield crack fill, etc) Maintain cleanliness of vehicle fleet in all seasons on a schedule Act as a point of contact for maintenance vendors while on site. Provide fleet status updates to General Manager and Assistant General Manager on a weekly basis. Communicate with assistant manager and delivery staff to gather fleet information and necessary input. Safely drive and operate company vehicle as needed to conduct company related duties. Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation Lift packages up to 50 lbs. Able to get in and out of van and walk up and down stairs through your shift Other duties as assigned.
