New state of the art, vertical LED Tier II OLCC Recreational Cannabis company is looking for 2-3 part time Trimmer and Cultivation Assistants and 1099 trimmers to support our operations in our gardens and trim room. Our ideal candidate(s) is a speedy and detail-orientated trimmer- both in the trim room AND garden, as needed for plant manicuring and harvest. If selected for a working interview (paid)- we will put your scissor speed and manicuring skills to the test. This entry-level position is ideal in both hours and flexibility for science or ag students. We offer on the job training in cannabis botany, disease/pest prevention, and nutrition. Opportunity for career advancement and full-time status (with full benefits) is available after 90 day probationary period. Please see below for available shifts and position types (regular employee & 1099 contract) Responsibilities: Trimming (1lb+ per day) and bucking Plant manicuring, training, and defoliation Pre- and post harvest sanitation Trellising, pot filling, transplanting, and moving batches Daily documentation and staff communication Plant nutrition and IPM Facility sanitation and cleaning Qualifications: Oregon Liquor Control Commission Marijuana Worker Permit OR proof of passed test A valid ID 6+ months experience as a trimmer or garden assistant preferred Must be physically capable of working for extended times on ladders during plant care and sanitation (garden only) Able to lift up 25lbs repeatedly (garden only) Strong communicator and work ethic Team player and self-starter Professional, reliable, consistent Good attitude Able to stand or sit for extended periods of time Work Environment: Our facility is nestled in a farming community with unobstructed, panoramic views of Mt. Hood Indoor cannabis facility with rooms that fluctuate from 64-86 degrees Must be able to handle high-light intensity (protective glasses provided) Must be able to work on ladders up to 8’ high in our 3 tier vertical bloom rooms and vertical dry room racks Available Shifts (regular employee): ---4hr Shifts: Tues- Saturday 7:30a-11:30a OR 12p-4p (16-24 hrs weekly) ---8hr Shifts: Thursday- Saturday 7:30a-4p (24 hours per week) ---$17-$18hr ---Paid every other Friday ---Not eligible for benefits Available Shifts (1099 Trimmers only) ---4hr-8hr Shifts daily (as available) ---$17hr-18hr (must trim a minimum of 1lb per 8hr shift or.5lb in 4hr shift) ---Bonuses for 1.5lbs+ per day ---Paid weekly ---Not eligible for benefits
