The Republican party is no longer the Republican party. It is now the party of Christian Fascism. It is very much a white nationalist organization. Trump did not cause this; it has been decades in the making. However, Trump being the leader of this vile party is the culmination of what has been building all this time. The decent Republicans, few as they are, have been completely marginalized by the Christian-fascists. It ain't the party of Lincoln anymore.
