Yes, I am fully aware of the countless individuals crowding the market trying to pitch and sell their scripts, their “babies”, the “next big thing!”.. This isn’t going to be one of those conversations. Not only have I written one of the most gripping and realistic stories one could experience.. but I also have a sequel and perhaps even a trilogy. I write this post and hope it finds the right ears, as I don’t know what else to do at this point. It’s my first screenplay and I have no representation. I have been trying for over a year to find representation and all I come across is wall after wall or the standard “we don’t accept unsolicited.. go F yourself mate” If you’ve read this far, you’ve earned a brief synopsis and my gratitude for any consideration/ assistance. - Full immersion into the life of a teenage girl and the people closest to her as she navigates new love and lifelong dreams and aspirations. Only the greatest of unexpected tragedies could derail her and her intense inner fortitude and discipline. Where could life take her if not with the people she holds most dear? Why do dark and terrible things seem to happen to the best of us? Is there a reason, or a true and grand design to it all? Are pain and suffering truly prerequisites for happiness and fulfillment?- I am prepared to send the full screenplay to those interested. I need representation, or at least a foot in the door/right direction. Thank you.
