Snare drummer with brushes wanted for early jazz and fiddle tunes

String trio (upright bass, banjolele, fiddle) looking for a drummer to play snare with brushes. We’ve been playing out of the Fiddler’s Facebook and some of the jazz fake books (mainly trad jazz and rags). We also have a growing number of originals. We are ready to play out but want to add some more rhythm. You should be able to tastefully accompany us and keep time. We’d like to limit it to snare and brushes for now but we might be open to other percussion. If you play a string instrument (i.e. guitar) there might be opportunities to switch it up as well. Singing harmonies a plus but not mandatory. We practice pretty much every Sunday roughly 10am-1pm in either Oakland or Alameda. You should be able to commit to making that regularly. We’re all chill folks who are committed to the craft, and we’re all vaxed and boosted. You should be too. Recordings available upon request. Please be able to provide the same. Once we start gigging, all gigs will be paid.
