IMMEDIATELY hiring permanent part-time and full time positions for a pet sitter/dog walker who can help with morning visits, mid-day visits and evening visits and cat care visits too, in the Abington, Jenkintown, Chestnut Hill, Mt Airy areas. This job is perfect for those who are self-employed with a flexible schedule, work from home, freelancers, retirees, or homemakers who have flexibility in their schedule. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Walking dogs, play, feeding Feeding Cats, litter care, play, administer medication Providing food and water for all pets; scooping litter boxes; cleaning bird cages Performing basic home chores such as bringing in mail and newspapers, bringing in trash containers, altering lights and blinds. Providing well-written, legible notes regarding details of visit Requirements: Candidates must understand that this is a PERMANENT part-time position. If you are anticipating a move out of the area, or will be seeking a full-time job soon, this is not the job for you. Please DO NOT apply if you like to travel or vacation frequently. Pet care experience is preferred but not required, i. e., dog walking or pet sitting experience, volunteer work in a shelter, working in a doggy daycare/kennel or vet, vet tech, etc. PLEASE READ: Do not apply if you have extreme time constraints and are generally unavailable. This position requires you to be very flexible. You must live within a 5 miles radius to be considered otherwise travel gets to extensive. We are looking for EXPERIENCED animal care givers who are responsible and reliable, to work as independent contractors. We are a pet sitting business that's been growing for the past 30 years, and now expanding our staff. PLEASE RESPOND ONLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA: Are over 21 years of age. Have your own reliable transportation. Have a cellphone and daily internet access. Are able to work flexible hours during the week and weekends, including holidays. Are reliable, organized, detail oriented and self-motivated. Have excellent customer relation and communication skills. Can improvise, and think out of the box on the spot when necessary. If you have experience administering injections and oral medications this is an added bonus since you'll be compensated additional for these skills. Backgrounds will be thoroughly checked, so you must have a valid drivers license, no criminal record and be drug free!
