Currently, I & E Construction is looking for carpenters looking into developing their career in construction. We are looking for someone with basic computer skills for documentation and communication. The ideal candidate would have a willingness to learn and drive to work. They would be working side by side with Project Superintendent to ensure quality standards are met. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Fill out basic site documents, reports, forms, etc. Observe all safety precautions and quality standards are met. Report on progress to Superintendent. Ability to do manual work as required either individually or with workers. Qualifications: Experience in restoration and/or exterior envelope construction is a bonus Knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines is a bonus Personal computing skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and ProCore. Excellent organizational skills. Knowledge of standard construction materials. Knowledge of power tools. Have reliable transportation. Strong technical and communication skills are critical.
