PELHAM, NY — Metro-North posted a schedule delay for the New Haven Line at 5:57 p.m. Monday: New Haven Line service is currently delayed due to police department activity in the vicinity of Pelham and Mount Vernon East. As more information becomes available we will notify you as soon as possible. Please listen for announcements at your station. A poster on Kempter's Fire Wire reported that Pelham emergency responders had been called to the station on a report of a pedestrian struck by a train.
