TAMPA, FL — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Saturday announced it will reopen Raymond James Stadium to fans at 25 percent capacity when the team returns home to play the Los Angeles Chargers on Oct. 4, according to a statement. The team decided to reopen the stadium to fans after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis issued an executive order Friday moving the state into the phase three of reopening. Officials said tickets will be available to the team's "longest-tenured season pass members," the statement said, "in recognition of their loyalty to the team" — meaning season pass members with continuous membership since 1998 or prior will have the first opportunity to purchase a limited number of tickets beginning Oct. 1. The team will then have a priority presale for the rest of the 2020 home schedule. The presale will begins Oct. 5, following the Chargers game. Learn more about ticket options. In a statement, the Buccaneers said heightened safety measures will be in place during games. Socially-distanced seating, enhanced sanitation measures and additional food preparation safety protocols at all concessions areas will be in place. The team also plans to implement full mobile ticketing and cashless transactions, as well as install touchless hardware in restrooms.
