Diverse Populations in Child Welfare
The 27th Maine Child Welfare Annual Conference will feature Keynote and Plenary presentations by Temple Grandin, PhD, who has written and presented extensively about Autism Spectrum Disorder, recognizing the value of different kinds of minds, and advocating for young people on the autism spectrum. This year’s conference will also include workshops on gender diversity and inclusion, gender affirming care, infant mental health, cross system collaboration for justice-involved youth, health and wellness needs of children involved in the child welfare system, and providing compassionate and competent perinatal care to families with substance use disorder.
On site check in begins at 7:00 am; Conference begins at 8:00 am and ends at 4:15 pm. We look forward to seeing you there!
