Just as you're preparing to sit down for Christmas dinner, you suddenly recall that you forgot to pick up the cranberry sauce or the whipped cream to top off the pumpkin pie. Here are the stores that will be open and closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day this year. Publix All Publix stores will open at regular hours on Christmas Eve and close at 7 p.m. All Publix stores will be closed Christmas Day. Aldi ALDI stores are closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day. There will be limited hours on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Specific holiday hours for your local store can be found by using the store locator. Walmart Walmart, Sam's Club and Walmart Marketplace will be open on Christmas Eve but will be closed Christmas Day. The store will continue regular hours on Dec. 26. Walmart will be open on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Target Target will be open on Christmas Eve until 8 p.m. for last-minute shoppers but will close on Christmas Day. Target will close at 9 p.m. on New Year's Eve and be open on New Year's Day. Walgreens Walgreens will be open on Christmas Eve and Day including the pharmacy as well as New Year's Eve and Day. Trader Joe's Trader Joe's will close at 6 p.m. Christmas Eve and all day Christmas Eve and New Year's Day. Costco Costco store hours can vary, but many stores are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve. The stores will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Albertsons Most Albertsons locations are open on Christmas Day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and most Albertson's stores will be open on New Year's Day during normal hours, although some will be closing early.
