This class provides a deeper understanding of the process of surrogacy so that doulas may offer more intentional, directed support. Topics covered include the process of becoming a surrogate, medical considerations, emotional and relational issues, and terminology. Each of these topics will be covered through the lens of valuable doula support measures, assistance through pregnancy, birth and postpartum, and appropriate language.
